Antonia Hodgson was born in Derby and studied English at the University of Leeds. She has worked in publishing for over fifteen years and is Editor-in-Chief at Little, Brown UK. When she is not writing or working or watching Game of Thrones she enjoys reading eighteenth-century murder confessions in the British Library. She does not react well to people who say The Smiths are depressing. THE DEVIL IN THE MARSHALSEA is her debut novel. She lives in London.
